Pete Ortega is a legendary folk artist, woodcarver and Santero, living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Son of world-reknown santero Ben Ortega Sr.,  Pete continues the Spanish tradition that is essential to the history of the modern-day Spanish folk art movement.  Winner of multiple Spanish Market Awards, Pete Ortega is a living legend in his own right. Pete's carvings are special commission and annually at the Traditional Spanish Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
